Welcome to Glitter and Grills!

About Us: We created Glitter and Grills after discovering our mutual love for fashion and lifestyle blogs. We both worked as dentists for a big practice in Nashville, TN. Getting to see each other every day we became close friends and were able to share on a daily basis what we cooked, what nail polish color we had on our nails, what workout we were doing, what book we were reading, our latest purchases, outfit inspirations… you get the idea. Basically, all the things you share with a friend.

“All good things must come to an end”.. or so says the quote. Brittany moved to Jackson, MS in the summer of 2013 and then Jamie moved to Gainesville, FL the following summer. We created Glitter and Grills as a way to continue sharing with each other all our favorite things. It has slowly grown and we have found that what started as a mutual love for blogs has now turned into a love of blogging. We are excited our family and friends have enjoyed the blog as well and we are always excited when we get new followers. You will see that we each contribute to the blog with separate posts.

About Brittany: I am splitting my time now between Jackson, MS, where I am doing a residency in Pediatric Dentistry, and Nashville, TN where I left behind my sweet hubby, our home and our two dogs Dora and Louie. My free time mainly consists of driving the 400 miles each way to come home every chance I get. When I am not in the car, I love traveling, online shopping, home decor, organization, working out, trying new recipes and reading everything I can about healthy living. I also love trying new makeup and skincare products.

About Jamie:

I am currently living in Gainesville, FL, and will be embarking on another move in July!  For now I am trying to enjoy my time in the Sunshine State!  I enjoy spending time with my husband, Cole, and our 2 precious pups, George and Leon.  I love running, shopping, traveling, trying new food and restaurants, cooking/baking, painting (a recently rediscovered hobby!), and indulging in celebrity gossip!  I also love trying out all the latest, greatest, anti-aging products that my derm hubby brings me to sample!  In my free time you will likely find me cheering on my Jayhawks (Rock Chalk!), at Disney World (I must make the most out of my season pass!), or going on long hikes around UF’s campus with my husband (we absolutely love Lake Alice and the entire UF campus!).  Anything else you want to know about us, just ask!
